I have been Associate University Librarian for Collections at York University Libraries since 2004; my Research portfolio was added in 2010. This past year, I served as Interim University Librarian. Prior to 2004, I was a reference librarian, electronic resources librarian, and subject specialist at York’s Scott Library. As AUL, I work with the library leadership team and with four departmental reports, including Technical Services, Resource Sharing, and the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections to develop and implement strategic library directions.

In 2009-10, I spent my sabbatical year as Visiting Librarian at Scholars Portal, contributing to a number of initiatives including the second iteration of MINES for Libraries survey for the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) and a consortial patron-driven acquisition e-book pilot.

Professional development highlights include attending Harvard's Library Leadership in a Digital Age program in March of 2013. I was a member of the 2009-10  Association of Research Libraries' Research Library Leadership Fellows Program.   Previously, I attended the Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians. My MLS is from the University of Toronto and I have a BA in English literature from the University of Western Ontario.
